Free Fireworks Display Announced After Kings Heath Cricket Club Event Issues
Kings Heath Cricket & Sports Club will host a free fireworks event this Friday after technical issues disrupted their organized display last Sunday.
The original event, which charged £8 per person in advance or £25 for a family of four, was marred by delays, leaving many attendees frustrated. Complaints poured in, with ticket holders calling it a “massive financial waste” and parents expressing disappointment over their children missing the display due to its late start.

In response, the club issued an apology, explaining that the fireworks supplier experienced technical difficulties. They assured the public they are reviewing the incident to prevent future disruptions.
“We understand how disappointing this was,” the club stated. “We value your time and are committed to making this right.”
The complimentary event will begin at 17:30 GMT on Friday, with the fireworks display set for 18:15. However, the fairground will not be open for the evening.
Despite the initial setback, some attendees showed support on social media. One commenter noted, “The technical difficulties were out of your control. The fireworks were still great and worth the wait.”
