Gabrielle Anulare Named to MAC All-Freshman Team
Toledo women’s soccer midfielder Gabrielle Anulare has earned a spot on the Mid-American Conference (MAC) All-Freshman Team, as announced during the league’s postseason awards.
Anulare was a cornerstone of the Rockets’ midfield in her debut collegiate season. Starting every game, she clocked a team-high 1,547 minutes, averaging nearly 86 minutes per match. She was on the field for every one of Toledo’s 11 conference games, contributing 990 minutes of consistent play.

Hailing from New Baltimore, Michigan, Anulare’s impact extended beyond the midfield. Her role in maintaining possession and supporting the defensive line was instrumental in Toledo’s success. The Rockets conceded only 16 goals this season, averaging 0.89 goals per game, which ranked fifth in the conference. The team also registered eight shutouts, tying a program record set in 2021 for the fewest goals allowed in a single season.
Offensively, Anulare found the back of the net twice, both times capitalizing on corner kicks during her home debut against Cincinnati on August 18. Her contributions helped solidify Toledo’s strong season and her spot as one of the conference’s top freshmen.
