UK broadcaster ITV has secured the rights to Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story, a Disney+ original documentary. The documentary, produced by Disney Entertainment, will be available on ITV’s streaming platform ITVX and its linear channel ITV2.
The film delves into the high-profile 2022 libel case between Coleen Rooney and fellow WAG Rebecca Vardy, which captivated audiences and media alike. ITV’s acquisition comes just in time for Rooney’s upcoming appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here this winter, further cementing her place in the spotlight.
