2025 Rankings: Zayed International Airport Among World’s Most Aesthetic
2025’s Top Airport for Beauty Announced by Versailles Prize
The Prix Versailles has revealed its list of the world’s most beautiful airports for 2025. Six airports from five countries were recognized for their architectural splendor and contribution to enhancing the travel experience.
Topping the list is Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport, which was designed in an X-shape to reflect the region’s diverse topography. Its innovative design set a new standard for airport architecture.

Two airports in Asia also stood out among the winners. Singapore’s Changi Airport Terminal 2 completed a major expansion last year, enhancing its iconic status. Meanwhile, Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Midfield Satellite 1, Thailand’s busiest hub, showcases a modern style that reflects the city’s vibrancy.
Other winners include Boston Logan Airport Terminal E in the United States, Kansas City International Airport and Felipe Ángeles International Airport in Mexico. All six airports are vying for three global awards – the Prix Versailles, Interiors and Exteriors – to be announced on December 2 at UNESCO Headquarters.
Travel becomes even more exciting when you go beyond the airport and explore a destination via road trip. In places like the UAE, with stunning desert landscapes, or Singapore, where modern wonders meet lush greenery, driving offers a unique perspective. Just remember to get an international driver’s license to ensure a worry-free adventure, no matter where your journey takes you.
